PLAYR.gg is hiring a rockstar Director of Sales!  Since the launch of our product, we have been scaling exponentially, bringing us a large volume of sales leads and high-value accounts.  As part of the PLAYR.gg you will have the opportunity to build and nurture a sales organization from the ground up. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to work with some of the largest brands and influencers in the gaming industry and drive our business to the next level.

What do we do?

PLAYR.gg is a digital marketing platform for gaming brands to drive viral marketing campaigns and capture the most cost-effective audience data.  We work with some of the largest gaming clients around the world and have a platform that is scaling rapidly, acquiring hundreds of thousands of users, and generating interest from many strategic partners and prospective clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue and own quotas
  • Build a scalable sales funnel and set success measurement metrics for sales organization
  • Build and manage a CRM that is optimized for business and sales needs
  • Develop, coach and manage a team of sales representatives
  • Demonstrate the value of our product to both new and existing customer
  • Assist in scaling the business by identifying new customers using lead generation methodologies
  • Build and managing top accounts and corporate clients to maximize value, success, and retention
  • Develop and report on all sales activities with tangible metrics
  • Work with some of the largest powerhouses in the gaming industry
  • This position includes up 50%-70% expected travel
  • Drive customers through the sales funnel, from an unqualified lead into a closed sale
  • Anything and everything necessary to fill the funnel and hit sales targets including but not limited to attending conventions to picking up the phone with cold calls)
  • Drink lots of GFUEL (seriously, we have so much)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with a CRM tool such as Salesforce, and overall marketing/sales pipeline management
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer success-oriented role
  • Previous experience in gaming/esports required
  • Able to develop relationships and gain credibility with decision-makers
  • Proficient with MS Office and G Suite
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organized
  • And most importantly, a strong hustle and work ethic
