About the "Business Development Manager” Role:
We are looking for a creative and scrappy self-starter who can set up and execute successful business strategies in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
You will seek out and negotiate contracts with a variety of data providers in order to help drive Sense360’s core product forward
As a one-person team, you are responsible for both the BD strategy and the execution of that strategy
You will help structure effective channel sales partnerships that help drive revenue with minimal internal sales support, and you will need to grease the wheels to ensure that a solid partnership goes from concept, to contract, to revenue
You should be comfortable taking unclear or ambiguous requirements and creating the necessary structure to deliver results. In this role, you will be charged with owning a variety of partnerships and must be comfortable switching contexts. For instance, you will be challenged with both expanding our mobile app publisher network while also keeping the gears greased on some of our largest restaurant industry channel partnerships. Throughout all of your work at Sense360, you will need to be a strong communicator, astute at determining and catering to our partners’ needs, while always aiming to maximize the effectiveness of each business engagement. You must be unwavering in your commitment to getting the job done, yet flexible enough to succeed against unpredictable hurdles. 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a relevant role
Experience in customer support is a plus
Time management and planning skills
Ability to build rapport with clients
Communication and negotiation skills
Proven track record of results
Self-starting attitude and a willingness to spearhead new initiatives
Mobile Technology and/or Market Research industry knowledge a plus
