As an Account Manager (AM) you are passionate about understanding business drivers for performance, the range of Engineer.ai’s products available, and engaging with our partners to deliver on these. Account Managers work closely with the Business Development team and other internal Engineer.ai business units to drive partner success. The AM will have responsibility for all aspects of managing a portfolio of small to moderately large corporate accounts. This includes relationship building, consultative selling techniques, customer service skills, effective use of sales budget, and time and territory management. You possess strong analytical ability, thrive in ambiguous situations, with the ability to be a self-starter and find solutions without guidance. This is a client-facing role that is also responsible for identifying opportunities to drive incremental revenue and long-term growth. The Account Manager is an expert in delivering consultative solutions for our partners, earning their trust by educating them on how to be successful with Engineer.ai.

Responsibilities:

Meet and exceed sales goals and quotas for year over year account growth

Manage and maintain existing client accounts that ensure retention and increase business

Maintain client satisfaction and manage any issues/concerns, ensuring resolutions

Identify business opportunities within current client base; sell and/or cross sell

Suggest new products/solutions to existing customers

Articulate the value proposition of solutions and products

Keep well-informed of industry trends, technological and process changes, new developments, services etc.

Effectively work across multiple business units to achieve results

Understanding of Engineer.ai’s technologies and value proposition

6 Month Objective and Key Results

O: Achieve year over year account grown within our North America Key Accounts

KR: Manage 5-10 B Level partnerships (size dependant)

KR: Develop key industry knowledge

KR: Become a trusted software industry expert/advisor to partner

KR: Become an industry specific SME

KR: Establish customer service metrics that result in account growth

Requirements

5+ years of technology related sales or business development along with customer service experience

3+ years of direct field experience working with SMB clients in the software or cloud solutions space

Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals

Experience in positioning and selling technology in new customers and new market segments

Experience in proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer’s business

Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership

Experience covering Strategic or Global accounts preferred

BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required

Preferred Qualifications

A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus

Track record of developing sustainable new business

Strong leadership experience

Ability to contribute to process improvement, inventing and simplifying within existing processes
