Skyport Attendant - Part-time (Los Angeles)

About the Job:

We want to create the world’s first intra-urban air transportation platform, drastically reducing travel time by transporting passengers by helicopter.

 

The Skyport Attendant will maintain oversight and safe execution of daily flights and are central to the success of our daily operations. They will act as the key person on the ground as customers arrive and depart from our skyport locations. This position is a mixture of operations, safety and customer service, ensuring that our customer have the safest, most reliable experience with Skyryse.  

 

As an early member of the team, the role has the potential to build out processes and procedures that other members of the team will follow. The attendants will have to commit to 20-30 hours a week in 5 hours shifts.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for customer service at our Skyports including, but not limited to greeting passengers, presenting safety information, and assisting passengers on and off helicopters

  • Key person responsible for the safety of the passengers, pilots and other crew during operations

  • Communicating with the Pilot and Customer Experience team as well as the airport operations staff to ensure a safe and smooth experience for our customers

  • Ensuring that the landing and takeoff location and facilities are clean and safe for operations

  • Focus on the timeline of operations and keeping flights on schedule

 

Requirements

  • Customer service experience

  • Experience with operations, procedure and maintaining a tight schedule

  • Vigilant and aware of surroundings and circumstances and be present in the moment to recognize and act upon anything unsafe

  • Professional demeanor with strong communication skills

  • Proven capability of responding readily and flexibly to changes

  • Friendly with the ability to make customers at ease

 

Nice to have

  • Experience in aviation

  • Prior public safety experience (ex. military, firefighters, police officers)

  • Additional customer service experience
