This class will explore the journey of creating an automated, recurring revenue business with a case study of his business, Bootleg Crusher, a software product which helps music merchandisers track down Bootleg Merchandise on the Internet and get it automatically taken down.
In this free, two hour class, we will deconstruct the Bootleg Crusher product, exploring the genesis of the idea, to the creation of a business model and production budget. We'll dive into false starts and hiccups, as well as exploring key insights that get the product off the ground.
We will cover acquisition, retention, and activation tactics - not only what worked and didn’t, but also the thinking behind these decisions. Lastly, we will focus on sales efforts - in person and remotely - and how these efforts drive the ultimate outcomes - A perpetual Recurring Revenue machine!
Students will leave the class with knowledge, confidence and motivation to build out their concepts and evaluate the viability of their project.
