Product Manager at Zefr

ZEFR is hiring! Join a small team of product mangers directly impacting the business here at ZEFR and the video ecosystem at large. As a product manager, you will work cross functionally to drive the discovery, strategy and design of products at ZEFR. Ideally, you have already launched many successful products, but can recount battle wounds from some failures. As a natural leader, you should have practiced the art of managing competing needs from across operations, engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure real value is delivered in viable products that meet the needs of growing business. This position reports to the VP of Product, and translates a vision and direction into an achievable yet ambitious product plan that drives big impact.

 

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Drive the strategy, discovery, roadmap and design of customer facing, fast growing products
  • Lead a squad of engineers, design, user experience, testing, marketing and stakeholders to deliver amazing outcomes
  • Collaborate on a vision and translate a strategy into the tactical elements that allow for iteration and outcomes
  • Implement systems and practices to measure, iterate and learn. Validate current work is creating the desired results and surface new insights for improving
  • Bring excitement and passion to work to build the momentum that solves big problems

 

Here’s What We’re Looking for:

  • Subject matter expertise in product management. 2 to 4 years of experience in a product management role – work on video, social and/or advertising products a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree from a rigorous program - in a quantitative or technical field a plus
  • A passion for great products that delight users and drive business impacts. Inspired and excited about the power of social video and the future of media
  • Unrelenting focus on customers and the iterative, dedicated work that uncovers real value
  • A student of the maturing product practices that create great outcomes with new technology, but a master of the fundamentals in managing a roadmap, setting priorities, and focusing a product team
    • Skilled at defining and prioritizing product ideas
    • Ability to wireframe and document the technical specifics of a project
    • Comfort in making decisions, ease in making smart tradeoffs
  • A natural communicator who thoughtfully and intentionally delivers the right message to the right audience. Comfortable in guiding the conversation from customer desk to executive boardroom
  • A renaissance combination of business acumen paired with technical sophistication. Marketing and design focus balanced with KPI measurement and scientific thinking. Great written skills that clarify the insights from excel functions
