Director of Marketing, Spectacles at Snap

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to join Team Spectacles! In this role, you’ll lead the development and implementation of the brand identity and marketing for Spectacles. Working from our Venice, CA headquarters, you’ll focus on building revenue and market share, optimizing customer relationship management systems, driving ongoing process improvements, and providing cross-functional team leadership.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead cross-functional planning across marketing, design, product, sales, sourcing, and production and other related functions with brand marketing and creative
  • Create, develop, and apply global marketing, content and brand strategies, programs and capabilities to grow consumers and revenue
  • Develop and drive ongoing consumer engagement and activation strategies to drive revenue, purchase intent, and brand affinity
  • Design and build an organization to support the long term marketing strategy and vision for Spectacles
  • Ensure all creative is consistent and provides a seamless experience for the consumer
  • Leverage digital data to measure and manage channel, content, and media performance
  • Optimize the use of earned, paid, and owned media to drive full-funnel marketing
  • Identify and build creative technology solutions for the brand that increase efficiency, reduce spend, and increase marketing reach
  • Leverage digital analytics and consumer insights to drive marketing relevance
  • Evaluate and track key metrics and success criteria for all marketing, advertising, and PR programs and activations
  • Provide global leadership, insight, and guidance to North America, Europe, MENA, and APAC regions
  • Develop effective marketing plans build on a foundation of consumer, shopper, and customer insights

What we’re looking for:

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years experience in a senior brand marketing leadership role, leading a large team and a portfolio of brands and products across multiple geographies
  • Seasoned consumer electronics and product marketing experience, with a deep understanding of retail, POS, and trade marketing
  • Experience driving global marketing strategy across, retail, wholesale, e-commerce
  • Experience in launching and successfully sustaining a global brand with multiple product lines, while aligning brand position across regions
  • Experience in developing and scaling a global brand identity
  • Hands-on experience with CRM program management
  • Experience managing a P&L or an operating budget for the marketing function to deliver both top line revenues and bottom line margin and profits
  • Proven leadership in a matrixed organization, managing or overseeing product development, creative and communications functions
  • Superior analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to translate complex insights into executable strategic plans
  • Experience in developing an effective marketing plan build on a foundation of consumer, shopper and customer insights
  • A passion for Snapchat, Spectacles, and creativity!
